The tour focuses on “Flowers of Japan” by visiting gardens and experiencing flower related activity (Ikebana). Throughout the tour, guests may gain deeper insight of Japanese culture and history : how Japanese people have been succeeding philosophy of harmony among nature and people. *Considering flower materials for Ikebana lesson, the tour is in Spring (March to May) and Autumn (Sept to Nov).

    Arrive at Tokyo

    1. Shinto ritual for safe trip at Shitaya Jinja (Shinto shrine)
    2. Ikebana lesson at Shitaya Jinja
    3. Shunkaen (Bonsai Museum)
    4. Sensoji

  3. Day 3

    Tokyo

    1. Bonsai Museum (Omiya)
    2. Bonsai Network (Omiya, restaurant and sells Bonsai goods, Nearby Bonsai Museum)

    Takayama→Shirakawago→Kanazawa

    1. Bus ride from Takayama to Shirakawago. Excursion at Shirakawago.
    2. Bus ride from Shirakawago to Kanazawa

    Kanazawa→Kyoto

    1. Train ride from Kanazawa to Kyoto
